About / Overview
“Born and raised” at Erlanger, Dr. Frank Kimsey continues a family tradition of cancer treatment innovation in our region. His father established the first radiation oncology program here.
Dr. Kimsey earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, after which he briefly conducted research at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He went on to attain a Fellowship in radiation oncology from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Kimsey is committed to providing individualized care for each patient. In addition to his radiation oncology practice, he serves as a trustee for one of the largest nonprofit foundations in Tennessee, providing care for uninsured cancer patients.
